2020… What a year!
January – I was reunited with Lucinda at University of Long Beach, USA for a magnificent road trip in an RV
An 8.5m motor home drive through California, Utah & Arizona …What a lot of incredible sights we did see!
We climbed Angels Landing, lived wild, slept on a beach & joined a convoy … Magical memories for Lucinda & me.
February – A fabulous farewell bash with friends for Edward on his departure to an exciting new life at sea,
Having passed his intensive deckhand training he quickly landed a job on a huge super yacht in Germany!
Peter headed to Mallorca, lycra and hills called! While I stayed to supervise studies for IB final year for Henry.
March – ALL home!! Lovely surprise!? The children loved being together again, been so long for them & a treat for me!
April – Games in the garden, board games inside, family team effort to pack William’s Fund Christmas cards, really!
May – Our lovely Lucinda turned 21, palm tree garden party, worldwide zoom celebrations, wonderful weather too!
June – Our hairy Henry turned 18! More garden party, fire pit tales with big brother and sister & a take away vindaloo!
Edward has been working 2 jobs all summer, too busy to party for his birthday, in fact all 3 worked so what did WE do?
July – Peter & I left for Mallorca, just a week… which turned into 4, didn’t want to quarantine, well would you?
August – Returned to a closely bonded trio of organised, tidy, working children, no evidence of anything?!! Phew!
September – Lucinda to Leicester, final year. Henry smashed his IB to make the University of Canterbury Woohoo!
October – Peter in Mallorca, my total knee replacement brought forward, Edward; an exceptional carer… Who knew!
November – Recovery in progress, Peter has me on the static bike! Awaiting the return of Doddlets, back to a full crew!
December – Thankful for all the support for William’s Fund throughout the year, thankful to all of YOU.
In recognition of £1m raised, & in our 20th year, we got an award from Downing Street and a letter from Boris too!
The research is going extremely well, just go here: www.linktr.ee/JohannaDodd to see all that we do!
