Legacy – Leave us a gift in your will
You can also speak to your solicitor to arrange for Williams Fund to benefit from your Will. If you are thinking of leaving a donation in your will to a good cause, you can specify Williams Fund via the Oxford Radcliffe Charitable Funds to ensure your legacy goes exactly where you would like it to go.
With ORHCF, you have the benefit of knowing that your donation will be spent in the area you have stipulated ie. Williams Fund.
As none of us know the exact direction medical developments will lead us to in the future, we suggest donors ask their solicitor to liaise with us about the precise wording in their will. This will ensure it is flexible enough to cope with medical innovations and future development and that we fully understand your wishes.
Taking the time to make a will gives you peace of mind and ensures that the people you love, and the causes you care about most, are provided for.
By leaving a legacy to Williams Fund you will be helping to ensure that future generations benefit from the very best and latest research on childhood cancers as well as the obvious spin-offs for other cancers.

SHOFT - Drive Back Happy
SHOFT helps to maintain proper seat belt tension, aligning your spine properly with your seat’s lumbar support, and discouraging poor posture that can lead to a sore, stiff back. Read full info on the SHOFT website.
RoSPA* recommends that seat belts are worn ‘as tight as possible’ across the pelvis. However, as you drive, your seat belt can become slack and improperly positioned, reducing effectiveness and encouraging poor posture. SHOFT is an innovative, simple solution for getting optimal performance from your seat belt.
The inventors of SHOFT support William’s Fund by donating a % of sales generated by our supporters, many of whom have been using SHOFT very happily for some years now! In addition both inventors give many hours free to the fund with packing and selling cards, generating our artwork – yes…all those cute penguins! If you need artwork just contact Dogs Down Belows!
If you love your back, your car, your children and your family… put these simple devices on your seat belts… you’ll be glad you did!!

Mrs Blossom & Sniffy Book
Rachel and her family have known Johanna for many years and have supported William’s Fund through their various business ventures. When Rachel published Mrs Blossom and Sniffy, she approached Johanna about working together, as supporting William’s Fund seemed like a logical choice; given that the book’s target market is young children.
Mrs Blossom and Sniffy (the dog that was a little bit whiffy!) has been written and illustrated by Rachel Sherfield. Rachel lives in Amersham and this is her first children’s book. The book was written and illustrated whilst she was recovering from a debilitating illness; from which she has now fully recovered. Rachel found that the book gave her focus whilst she was ill; and truly believes that the illustrations served as ‘art therapy’; and became a major contributing factor to her recovery.
Rachel got interested in children’s story writing in her early 30’s, when her son was born. She very much enjoyed reading children’s books to her son and found inspiration from author’s such as Julia Donaldson (The Gruffalo) and Giles Andreae (Sir Scallywag and the Deadly Dragon Poo)!
Rachel found that her background in art and graphic design enabled her to be able to illustrate and successfully self publish her own children’s book; drawing upon past printing and design knowledge. Rachel’s illustrations are unique as they are all in fact a collage. Each collage used a series of wax rubbings (taken of different surfaces found in and around her house and garden); along with a series of cut out pen and ink drawings (filled in with coloured pencil and crayon).
The book is £6.99 and for every book sold via a William’s Fund referral, Rachel will donate a £1. So why not support William’s Fund by purchasing one of Rachel’s books? To find out more about the book, or to place an order please visit the Mrs Blossom & Sniffy website. When placing an order, please give reference to ‘William’s Fund’ in the ‘Order Notes Section’ on the website to ensure we receive the donation.
Rachel is now illustrating her 2nd book and is very much looking forward to getting it published, but in the meantime happily continues to promote Mrs Blossom and Sniffy at local events; including schools, libraries, craft fairs and Waterstones branches. Check out the newly knitted Mrs Blossom and Sniffy!
