Another Fund raising event – by Craig Wheeler:
As you probably know by now I will be finding out if I have a glass jaw in October when take part in my first professional boxing fight!
Details as follows:
Date: Saturday 20th October
Venue: Water Lily Hall, 69-89 Whitechapel Road, London E1
Reception: 4.30pm. Fights start at 5.30pm (reckon I’ll be on between 8pm and 9pm)
Ticket Prices: Standard tickets are £25.50, Ringside seated £40.50 (sorry – pricey I know but apparently there is a lot of demand to see me get my face punched in)
Let me know who wants a ticket ASAP but I’m assuming everyone would like standing tickets so you don’t splattered with my blood but let me know if you want otherwise.
I am also raising money for a really great Charity (Williams Fund) that funds research in to children’s cancers. Unfortunately William passed away at the age of 4 after a long battle against cancer but his legacy continues as his family have raised over £500,000 to fund research – so please give generaously.
If we can keep the fight a secret from my mum I will get WDMP to match the total contributions.
